An honour award dagger with chain suspension
for high-ranking SA leaders
Damascus blade with raised gilded motto, "Alles für Deutschland" amid oak leaf branches, manufacturer's mark, "Carl Eickhorn Solingen". The tang stamped "Damast" and "181". Silver-plated quillons (matching numbers) with oak leaf decoration in relief. Brown wooden grip with an inlaid nickel-silver eagle and an enamelled SA emblem. Brown, leather-covered scabbard with engraved silver-plated mountings. Silver-plated iron suspension chain, awarded later. Length 34.5 cm.
