A model 1937 gorget "Kommandantur", 2nd model
for patrol duty at garrison headquarters and troop training areas
Kidney-shaped aluminium shield bearing a "Kommandantur" scroll beneath the gorget number "15" and army eagles facing each other on the corners. Two suspension hooks on the back, green felt backing. Silver-plated, non-magnetic chain. Minor nicks on the edges.
Very rare gorget.
