納粹警察鷹記標章
納粹警察帽子上的鷹記標章.
"Mot.Vehrkehrsbereitschaft" EM/NCO'S SHAKO EAGLE. (Tschako Adler)
Roughly, 3 1/8" tall, 3 5/8" wide, single piece, fire gilted, die stamped alloy, construction, right facing eagle features out-stretched wings and is superimposed on a vertically oval, opened top, oak-leaf wreath with the eagles wings extending beyond the outer edges of the wreath with a roughly, 5 7/8" wingspan. The eagle and the wreath are nicely convexed to fit the contours of a Shako and both have nice high relief detailing. The hollow backed reverse is a mirror image of the obverse and has had both inset, soldered attachment prongs intact. The reverse is well marked with the embossed manufacturers logo of a stylized, "A", indicating manufacture by F. W. Assmann & S鐬ne Lenscheid. The eagle retains all of its fired gilted finish with a couple of small black paint splatters.
